Eurostar trains travel under the English Channel on the following routes, in both directions:
- Paris - Lille - Calais - London
- Amsterdam - Brussels - Lille - Calais - London
Arriving by Eurostar in the heart of London, you can immediately start your visit, or embark on a further railway journey to any point in the United Kingdom. Stepping off the train in Paris, Lille or Calais, you can easily connect to an SNCF French Railways train for onward travel to any point in France. And from Brussels, you can easily connect onward to the Netherlands, Germany and points further east and north. As specialists in organizing rail journeys, Polrail Service can prepare an excursion for you to any point in Europe.
Tickets on Eurostar services are available at a wide range of prices, but generally prices rise as the travel date draws nearer. Tickets can be booked up to 6 months before travel, and the lowest prices can be found at that time. Eurostar also offers discounts for youths under age 26, children, seniors, as well as groups. Discounts are also available for Eurail and InterRail pass holders.
On board the train you will find a buffet car serving snacks and drinks. Travelers in Standard Premier or Business Premier classes are served a meal and drinks at their seat.
Eurostar has a special boarding procedure and the traveler must check in at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time (10 minutes for Business Premier customers). A passport or national ID card must be carried. Each passenger may take up to 2 pieces of baggage, with total dimensions not exceeding 85 cm. Additionally, each traveler may carry a piece of personal hand baggage.

Did you know...?
- In 2011, 92.5% of Eurostar trains reached their destination on time or with no more than a fifteen-minute delay, whereas commercial flights were only able to achieve 65-70%. Travel by train from central London to central Paris is faster than a flight, and at the same time more comfortable. It is not surprising that the Eurostar took more than 70% of the air transport market.
- Eurostar commissioned an independent study to estimate emissions of carbon dioxide emissions. It turned out that the train journey from London to Paris releases 11 kg of carbon dioxide per passenger to the atmosphere, a result which is more than 90% better than an airline flight on the same route, where the amount of CO2 per passenger is 122 kg. In addition, aircraft emit carbon dioxide into the upper atmosphere, which is more damaging to the environment
