If you are arriving in Poland by plane, connecting to the national rail system is easy! Six of Poland’s airports are now linked by rail to the country’s rail network, and from all airports there are great connections to get from your plane to a train for onward travel to any point on the rail network.
Here you will find information on getting from Poland’s commercial airports to the most convenient nearby railway station to continue your journey.

Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport (sometimes known as Warsaw Okecie) - website.
The airport is located in the southwest part of Warsaw, about 10 km from the center.
Rail Connections
To continue your travel by rail, the most convenient station is Warszawa Centralna, the main station, located on Jerozolimskie Ave. in downtown Warsaw. From Warszawa Centralna, long-distance trains leave to all points in Poland. The adjacent Warszawa Srodmiescie station is the departure point for local trains to Warsaw's outer suburbs and nearby towns.

Train
The train ride from the airport to the city centre (and the main railway station) takes around 25 minutes. The frequency of departures is 30 minutes.

Fares for using the rail connections:
You can use all the tickets offered by the Warsaw public transportation company (ZTM) for your rail connection between Warsaw Chopin airport, Warszawa Śródmieście and Warsaw East (Warszawa Wschodnia). You can travel with 75-minute ZTM ticket which costs 4.40PLN in most news kiosks or in the ticket machine located before the platform entrance.
Note! The passenger who has not validated his ticket, earlier in the validating machine or in the metro entrance gate, should board the train by the first doors (from the front of the train) and ask the train manager to validate his ticket. Otherwise, the passemnger is treated as travelling without a valid ticket.
Bus
Warsaw city bus line #175 runs between the airport (bus stop on the lower [arrivals] level) and Warszawa Centralna station (bus stop "Dworzec Centralny" on Jerozolimskie Ave.). Shuttle buses operated by KM run from Modlin airport to the Modlin railway station. Transfer to the Warsaw train is at Modlin train station. Timetable

Bonus! With the "Bilet Lotniskowy" ("Airport Ticket"), you can also use all means of public transport offered by Warsaw public transportation company ZTM in Warsaw (bus, tram, metro, and SKM) in the first zone within 75 minutes. Before you begin the trip, you have to write down the starting time on your ticket.
Very important! You can board KM trains on the KML line without a ticket or with a non-validated one, but then you have to use the first door at the front of the train and contact a conductor immediately to buy or validate your ticket!
Taxi
A taxi ride from Modlin airport to Warszawa Centralna station should cost about 200-270PLN (about 40km - 40-60min). According to an official announcement, Sawa Taxi and Ele Taxi companies from Warsaw hold contracts to operate for the Modlin airport. As there is no official statement about it on the Airport's web page, we recommend you to always call and check the fare beforehand. And always remember to use only a marked taxi with a phone number and company name!
Another option is the http://www.transportmodlin.com service, which claims to offer more expensive but higher standard services than standard taxis.
